Lucy Le Brocq
Lucy Le Brocq is a Brighton-based multidisciplinary artist with a primary focus on photography and film. Her work is rooted in narrative-based practices, shaped through a collaborative process that includes documentation, dialogue, and research. Through this approach, Lucy explores texture, emotional depth, and the richness of lived history. Her artistic practice seeks to uncover deeper connections around themes of memory, relationships, systemic and gender politics – an ongoing journey of understanding through conversation and creative exploration.
BE PART OF UNFOLDING:
As part of their ongoing project UNFOLDING, Lucy will be creating portraits that weave together personal stories, colours, textures, and emotions. This series looks at the intersectionality of LGBTQ+ lives globally, and during their time in Malta, they want to listen, learn, and document local narratives.
If you’d like to share your story and take part in a unique portrait session, we invite you to fill in our short questionnaire. Your participation will help shape the project and may contribute to a future exhibition.
