NOT JUST A RESIDENCY* IT’S AN EXPERIENCE.

THE BPC EXPERIENCE

The Bored Peach Club experience places a strong emphasis on community connection and creative exchange. We believe that art flourishes when it’s shared, discussed, and experienced collectively. Resident artists are encouraged to engage with both the local community and fellow creatives through workshops, open studio events, and interactive exhibitions. These gatherings offer artists a chance to share their work, processes, and ideas, inviting meaningful conversations and insights from diverse perspectives.

Our experience offers a peaceful environment where artists can escape distractions and focus on their creative work. We provide a supportive space for uninterrupted contemplation, exploration, and creation, honoring each artist’s journey.

THE BPC CREATIVE EXPERIENCE.

Our residency is self-paced and built around the needs of each artist. We’re here to support and help connect you with people, but it’s always up to you how you shape the experience.

The house hosts two artists at a time, offering space to focus on your own projects. There’s an atelier on site which is sometimes available for end-of-residency presentations, if that feels right for you.

We encourage artists to involve the local community – whether through workshops, talks, or however you like to share your work.

2026 call – now open.

TESTIMONIALS

It’s a great location, beautiful building and context. Organisation was smooth with a complete freedom to create. Loved it all! Anna Horvath –  https://ahaobjects.com

Being a resident of the BPC was one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. It gave me the chance to dive into my work without the usual daily distractions and really live in a creative flow. Beyond that, the support from the residency staff was incredible—it’s an experience that can completely shift your perspective and push your art to a new level. If you’re looking for a space to grow and explore without limits, the BPC could be the perfect next step. Jessica De Mers –  bio.site/JDeMersArt

They should definitely take the opportunity to create in such a beautiful property in a beautiful village in the most enchanted island on earth.  Adrian Abela – adrian-abela.com

The BPC Residency in Xagħra, Gozo offered a deeply immersive and inspiring environment — a serene haven infused with Mediterranean spirit and rooted in a sense of place. Nestled in a quiet alley within walking distance of a tightly knit Gozitan community, the residency provided a space where creative practice could unfold with both focus and fluidity. Ritty and Pat were incredibly helpful. Surrounded by layers of heritage, seasonal rituals, and the rhythms of village life, the residency allowed for an intuitive dialogue between the artist and the environment. Local tradesmen, artisans, and residents offered warmth and generosity, enriching the experience with meaningful encounters and cultural insights. The proximity to UNESCO World Heritage sites, Michelin-recognised gastronomy, and untouched coastal landscapes further deepened the connection between nature, culture, and creation. More than just a physical space, the BPC Residency became a conceptual retreat — a kind of contemporary hermitage — where ideas could simmer, transform, and emerge in their own time. It was a place of grounding and regeneration, where the elemental stillness of Gozo supported artistic inquiry and reflection. Victor Agius – www.victoragius.com
