TERMS AND CONDITIONS

BPC Residency

Q: What is the Bored Peach Club Creative Experience?
A: The Bored Peach Club Creative Experience is more than a residency. It offers artists, makers, and dreamers the time, space, and tools to develop their ideas while immersed in the slower rhythms of the Mediterranean island of Gozo.

Q: Who can apply?
A: Anyone aged 21–60+ from anywhere in the world. We welcome artists of all mediums, creatives shaping new paths, and people building something meaningful; solo or in collaboration.

Q: What do the packages include?
A: Depending on your package (2, 3, or 4 weeks), you’ll get access to our accommodation, exposure opportunities (social media, features, newsletters), workshop access, and chances to showcase your work either online or in person. Some packages include extra perks such as an artist video, representation in our online store or an end-of-residency show.

Q: How much do the packages cost?
A: Package prices range from €700–€1,250 depending on length and included features. We also have bespoke packages for special projects.

Q: What makes all this different from an artist residency?
A: We’re not about deadlines and pressure. Our focus is slow living, inspiration, and giving artists space to breathe. This is about the experience: mindfully doing nothing, slowing down, and letting creativity flow naturally.

Q: Do I need a specific project in mind to apply?
A: We value artists who arrive with intention. A clear proposal, or even a commitment to engage with the local community, will strengthen your application. Creative Experiences are designed for those who show they want to do something with their time here, whether that’s completing a project, testing an idea, or building meaningful connections.

Q: Can I collaborate with locals or other artists?
A: Absolutely. Collaboration is at the heart of our Creative Experience; whether it happens through workshops, community events, or spontaneous connections in the house and atelier, we’re all for it. To support this, we’ll assign a dedicated contact person to help you connect with people and reach your objectives.

Q: Are there special discounted rates?
A:Unfortunately, we do not offer discounts or funded stays at this stage. Artists are responsible for covering their own travel, package, and time on the island. We may share external open calls or funding opportunities when available, but the Creative Experience is currently self-funded.

What is the housing aspect like?
A: Complimentary access to the Bored Peach Club house is included with every package. The house has two private en-suite bedrooms meaning up to two artists can stay at the same time. While bedrooms are private, the rest of the house is shared including the common areas and pool. The atelier space is available to host solo or collaborative shows, workshops or community events – keeping the space connected and alive.

Logistics and Responsibilities:

Self-Catering: Artists are responsible for arranging their food, beverages, and transportation needs throughout their stay.

Material: Artists are responsible to bring their own material to work within the space.

Additional Information:

Communication: Due to the high volume of submissions, The Bored Peach Club is unable to offer individual feedback on applications. If you don’t receive a response, we encourage you to apply for future opportunities.

Selection Process: Applying for the residency does not guarantee a spot. Each application is carefully reviewed, and selection is based on the strength of your proposal and the quality of your portfolio.

We’re looking for artists who are open, curious, and committed to making the most of their time at the Bored Peach Club; whether that means developing new work, connecting with others, or simply exploring at their own pace.

Right to Cancel: The Bored Peach Club reserves the right to cancel the residency at any time without prior notice.
